Kindergarten

My first day of Kindergarten couldn't have gone better. Mama drove me to school. In the van I said I was scared. Mama said that it was okay to be scared but don't worry you are going to have so much fun. My teacher's name is Mme. Morin. She is beautiful, blonde hair and she wore a dress...I like her a lot already. I guessed she was about 25. The other good thing is my good buddy Audrey is in my class. Mme. Morin took us on a tour around the school. We have two music rooms!, a library, a computer room, gymnasium, and the bathroom is just down the hall. We have a place to put our outdoor shoes, and a place for our indoor shoes and backpacks. Mama came to pick me up a little early and we made a placemat for snack time with hearts all over it. The hearts are to remind me of Mom and Mama.  When we were walking back to the van Mama asked me if I liked Kindergarten...I replied "Like it...I LOVED IT"!

Mini Time Capsule: October 5, 2010 My classmate Will and his Dad invited us to do a mini time capsule with them. Our whole class was invited to meet at the Strathcona Nature Area to bury a treasure for the winter.  In April or May we will be returning to our site to dig up our treasures.

Our first field trip to the Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton.  We went to learn about Ladybugs.  There are over 1000 types of ladybugs and they are very good for your garden.  We each got to let a ladybug go in the "wet" pyramid.

Halloween Parade and Party - This year Mommy was determined that we would make our costumes.  Most girls were princesses and kittys, the boys were star wars characters.  I was the only ghost, I think I was the only ghost in the whole school.  Great job Mommy.
